The multidisciplinary consultancy Pegasus Group has opened its first regional office in Scotland.
Located in the capital at 1 Lochrin Square, 92-98 Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, it is the group’s 16 regional office, and reflects a consolidated period of growth and expansion.
Tony Bateman, Managing Director of Pegasus Group, said: “We are delighted to have a presence in Scotland, enabling us to better serve the needs of our growing client base within the region.
“Despite the Covid challenges of 2020, we were determined to keep our plans for growing the company on track. This is our third new regional office in just 12 months, following on from the opening of our first base in Ireland in August last year, and our Solent office in July this year.
“Pegasus Group is currently working on a major mixed-use residential led scheme in the region, and to have a regional office close by will be a real asset to our work.”
The Scotland team will include senior director Brian Denney, director Dale Turner, and executive directors Sebastian Tibenham and Andrew Cook.
The firm’s current work in Scotland is heavily weighted within the energy sector and consists primarily of onshore wind and solar farms but also battery storage, anaerobic digestion, and nuclear power. Other areas of activity include logistics and infrastructure, leisure, retail, employment and residential sectors already within Scotland.
Mr Bateman added: “We have a growing client base in Scotland and firmly believe that the opening of a regional office here will enable us to service the growing demand for our specialist planning, design, environmental and economics services across the country.”
