Construction worker electrocuted in Hubballi

Hubballi

HUBBALLI: A 18-year-old youth died of electrocution in Inam Veerapur village in Hubballi taluk on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the deceased is Mallikjaan Jafar, a daily wage construction labourer from Savanur taluk in Haveri district.

While working in the village, he allegedly touched a live electric wire and fell down.

Although he was rushed to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences here, but he died on the way. A case of annatural death has been registered at Hubballi rural police station and an investigation is on.
