There are now more than 1,000 venues on the health department's list of COVID-19 exposure sites in Victoria.

Overnight, dozens of venues were added to the list, including a construction site in Fishermans Bend and several apartment buildings in Melbourne.

The Fishermans Bend school construction site at 477 Graham Street, Port Melbourne, is listed as a tier 2 exposure site from August 24 to August 28.

The health department said some people will be tier 1 close contacts and will be contacted individually and required to quarantine for 14 days.

The Havenlea apartment complex at 93 Furlong Road, Cairnlea, is listed as a tier 2 exposure site between August 25 and August 30.

The GEOX apartment complex at 37-43 Breese Street, Brunswick, is listed as a tier 2 exposure site between August 22 and August 30.

Some people linked to the site will also be considered tier 1 close contacts.

Several public transport services are also listed, including several Metro train services on the Upfield, Craigieburn and Mernda lines between August 24 and 26, and tram services to Queen Victoria Market and Spencer Street.
