Consett youngsters' video message to first team ahead of FA Vase Final

Monday will be a historic day for Northern League club Consett as they prepare to walk out at Wembley Stadium for the first time.

The County Durham club will face North East rivals Hebburn Town in the FA Vase Final, and a number of young fans have shown their support for their hometown club.

Supporters are unable to travel to Wembley after the government and Football Association confirmed the game will take place behind closed doors.

Consett fans will be limited to watching the eagerly anticipated fixture on TV on Monday afternoon – but that has not stopped them sending messages of support to Terry Mitchell and his players as they finalise their preparations for the club’s first ever visit to the national stadium.
