Conor McLaughlin called up for Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifiers

Conor McLaughlin has been called up to Ian Baraclough's Northern Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifiers.

Baraclough's side will play three games at the end of this month - including two of their 2022 World Cup qualifying fixtures against Italy on, Thursday, March 25 and Bulgaria Wednesday, March 31.

The Green and White army will also face USA in a friendly on Sunday, March 28.

However, Sunderland's Jordan Jones will miss Northern Ireland's world cup qualifiers through injury.

The on-loan Rangers man has missed the Black Cats EFL Trophy final win over Tranmere Rovers and their win over Accrington in midweek.

The 26-year-old has been impressive since joining from Ibrox in January.

Elsewhere, Sunderland goalkeeper Adam Richardson has been called up for England's under-18's to face Wales later this month.
