Conor McGregor weighs in on Man Utd and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer debate after Liverpool loss

Conor McGregor thinks that change is needed at Manchester United after their dismal defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

The UFC star watched his boyhood club suffer a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of bitter rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford, and has weighed in on the debate around manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future.

The Red Devils boss is under mounting pressure at the hot seat after a poor run on games has saw many fans admit that the club legend should be removed from the hot seat.

And although endorsing Solskjer as a club legend, McGregor reckons that the boss will only be seen as a 'peer' in the United dressing room, with McGregor suggesting that a higher reputation manager is what's needed to end United's woes.

"The issue at (Manchester) United is it’s just bunch of youngfellas talking to each other. Peers," McGregor tweeted.

"You need some one above the group chat to take the helm. Ole was on the bench when Ronaldo played. A peer. Not enough.

"Love and respect Ole to the max but his role needs (to be) rearranged. My opinion."
