Conor McGregor wants 'RMF' belt on the line when he faces Dustin Poirier in trilogy fight

Conor McGregor wants two UFC belts on the line when he faces Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight on July 10.

Despite the lightweight showdown not being for the division's belt, the former two-weight champ is eager for the UFC to put something up for grabs in the grudge rematch.

And McGregor has suggested creating a 'RMF' belt - similar to the BMF belt Jorge Masvidal won after he beat Nate Diaz in November 2019 - though this time standing for 'Richest M**********r' instead of 'Baddest M**********r'.

Tickets for the fight are already sold out and predicted to bring in around €14.2 million alone for the UFC, with that figure to significantly swell when PPV buys are factored in, earning both McGregor and Poirier a big pay-day.

The Dubliner doesn't stop there as he suggested another belt - 'The McGregor Belt' - should also be on the line in Las Vegas.

McGregor tweeted: "Let’s do two belts actually @ufc. Champ Champ always does two. We’ve got “The McGregor Belt” currently in creation, and now we’ve got the all new “RMF” belt. “The Richest Motherfucker Belt”.

"This way we can put both the rubies and the emeralds to good use."

And almost 21,000 fans could witness the debut of the title after the UFC announced that the PPV sold out in a matter of seconds.

The lightweight rivals go toe-to-toe after at UFC 264 - and all 20,800 tickets are gone after they went on sale at 8 pm Irish time last night.

With some tickets priced as high as $10,000, the last of the golden tickets that weren't swept up on pre-sale this week are gone as Dana White took to Twitter to make the announcement.

And with the grudge rematch set to go down on front of a heaving Las Vegas crowd, the winner could see themselves catipulted into the lightweight title picture later this year.
