Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone: Jorge Masvidal sends Irishman ultimatum over potential UFC showdown

Jorge Masvidal has delivered an ultimatum to Conor McGregor to put up or move on after talk of a potential super fight between the pair.

The Irishman is preparing to face Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 246 later this month.

But a collision course with Masvidal has been discussed after the American’s win over Nate Diaz at UFC 244 in November, which saw him claim the ‘Baddest Motherf***** in the Game’ title.

McGregor appeared to back down though last week, revealing he would not be prepared to move up to 170 pounds to make that fight.

“I’m not going to 170 (pounds) just for Jorge, he hasn’t really got anything,” McGregor said.

But Masvidal reacted angrily to this comment, urging McGregor to stop messing around or move on.

“He doesn’t want this? I don’t give a f*** then, you don’t want to fight, you don’t want to fight,” he said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.

“Don’t flirt with me. You want it or you don’t.

“Leave me the f*** alone if you don’t. I’m going to go take care of [Kamaru] Usman.

“Yes, I would want that fight. It’s a big money fight.

“It’s a dude that’s a two-time division champion. He has some impressive records, and he comes to fight man, so in that aspect, yes.

“And we’re going to both f***ing sell out wherever we’re f***ing fighting at, and it’s going to be violence.”
