Conor McGregor UFC news: Watch unseen footage of Notorious sparring former world boxing champion Patrick Hyland

Unseen video footage has been released showing Conor McGregor sparring former world boxing champion Patrick Hyland.

The Notorious certainly got the better of Hyland, who was crowned WBF featherweight champion in 2011, as they sparred under MMA rules in a cage.

Dubliner Hyland can be heard shouting “What do I do?" as McGregor wrestles him to the ground.

He then shouts "How am I meant to get out of that" as the UFC star gets off him.

McGregor connects with plenty of punches and kicks in the clip, but Hyland hits him with some nice body shots towards the end of it.

The video was uploaded by The Mac Life.

Meanwhile, Dana White has revealed Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor is the rematch he wants to see most.

The Notorious is desperate for another shot at the lightweight champion after losing to him in October, 2018.

And the UFC President admits he would love to see the two men face off in the Octagon again.

When asked in a Reddit AMA session which rematch he would like to make most, White replied: “I know everybody is gonna go ‘isn’t he awesome’ but it’s true. I would have to say Conor Khabib... Conor wants that rematch so bad and I would love to see it."

McGregor could have to wait some time for another bout with the undefeated Russian, who is set to face the winner of Tony Ferguson vs Gaethje later in the year.

Ferguson and Gaethje clash in the main event of UFC 249 next weekend as the promotion stage their first show since March 14.

Nurmagomedov's manager recently said McGregor is way down the pecking order in terms of a fight with the lightweight champion.

Ali Abdelaziz told ESPN's Brett Okamoto: “Conor is irrelevant right now,. Listen, Khabib is number 1. Number 2, Gaethje, and Tony. Conor is number 4.

"Why are we even talking about Conor? Nobody cares about Conor.

"Conor had an opportunity to fight Gaethje, now, Gaethje’s going to fight for the title and Conor’s going to sit in a stand watching."

He added: “We are talking about money? Yes, bring Conor but if you are talking about No.1 contender? Conor doesn’t even belong in there. He is No.4 right now.”
