And on Monday he introduced us to "Champ Champ Rosé" with a promotional video starring and narrated by the UFC star.

McGregor wrote on Twitter: "Just like I did with my Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, I will now take over the Rosé wine business.

"Introducing Champ Champ Rosé, the finest Rosé in the world!"

The clues that he was having us on though with there when he said the new product was "crafted with Ireland's finest grape varieties" and his comic pronunciation of "Champ Champ".

And any fans getting excited by McGregor's latest venture were left disappointed when the video cut to Crumlin man holding a bottle of whiskey and admitting it was all a big joke.
