Conor McGregor is training Rocky-style as he gears up for a return to the octagon.
The 31-year-old Dubliner is in Italy with his partner Dee Devin for a friend's wedding, but that has not stopped him putting in the hard yards.
McGregor posted a series of photos on Instagram of him running up and down long corridor of steep steps ala Rocky Balboa.
The Notorious worked up a sweat and appears to be in top shape although it is still unknown when he will reappear in the Octagon.
But, speaking to ESPN recently, McGregor insisted that he was ready for a return with it nearly a year since his last fight - a submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in Las Vegas.
"I'm already in shape," he said. "I haven't lost my condition, I just need to sharpen up the grappling. I would look for that, for the end of the year."
McGregor shared a number of loved-up snaps with Dee in Italy, flashing a big smile as the pair sat down for an evening meal while looking over the coast.
The Notorious also shared a photo of himself on Instagram staring towards the ocean during his time away.
McGregor has said: "I'm focusing on my family life. I'm also having long, hard discussions with myself.
"Daily discussions. Because it's a daily thing.
"You could serve the world at my feet. I could either stomp on it or use it to rise me up. You know what I mean?
"I'm trying not to succumb to temptation.
"I'm trying not to give in to bait. I'm trying to be a family man, and I'm working hard every day. These are the things I'm focusing on."
