Conor McGregor is to appear in court next week charged over allegedly punching a man in a Dublin pub.
The 31-year-old is expected to appear before Dublin District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday, October 11.
The Notorious is to face a single assault charge, which carries a maximum prison term of six months or a €1,500 fine, or both, if convicted.
Detectives served a summons on the MMA fighter, after the DPP directed earlier this year that he should be prosecuted over the minor assault, the Independent reports.
The garda investigation was launched after the alleged incident at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh on April 6.
CCTV footage of the alleged incident was widely circulated.

McGregor's management have been reached for comment.
