Conor McGregor reignited his old rivalry with ex- UFC champion Rafael Dos Anjos on Sunday morning, sending some less than complimentary tweets to the Brazilian.
The former Lightweight champions were supposed to square off for the belt in 2016, but Dos Anjos was forced to pull out with an injury and was replaced by Nate Diaz, who went on to beat McGregor.
And when RDA got back to winning ways this weekend with a win over fellow Welterweight contender Kevin Lee, McGregor took to Twitter to troll his former rival.
When MMA journalist Josh Gross tweeted about the fight that never was, McGregor got involved himself, saying "I guess we’ll never know, cos he bottled it, with a broken toe."

And when a fan tweeted a gruesome photo of the incident, the 30-year-old Irishman responded yet again, adding: "Lol my bad, I didn’t know it was actually just a bruise."
McGregor also claims that he was supposed to fight RDA for what would have been his third title in the interim Welterweight strap last year, but there was never an official confirmation.
He was reportedly set to finally scrap with the Brazilian on May 12th at UFC 224, but after the infamous Brooklyn bus attack, he was pulled from the event which went on to be headlined by Amanda Nunes v Raquel Pennington.
