Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious surprises American fans at Straight Blast Gym in Dublin

Conor McGregor brilliantly surprised a group of fans who turned up at the gym where he trains to buy a t-shirt.

American tourist Taylor Bach visited John Kavanagh's Straight Blast Gym with her family recently to buy a top for her brother when they bumped into the MMA star.

The Notorious FaceTimed Taylor's brother before giving the family bottles of his Proper Twelve Whiskey and signing merchandise.

Taylor's mother, who has survived breast cancer and was enjoying her first trip outside America, was delighted to meet McGregor.

Taylor posted on Instagram: "My brother only wanted a t-shirt from Straight Blast Gym where his favorite fighter, Conor McGregor, trains.

"Unbelievably, Mr. McGregor was there to sign and FaceTime with him! Thank you so much, Conor, for making our trip a truly unforgettable experience!"

Speaking in a clip posted by TheMacLife, McGregor said: “I should start carrying a couple of boxes [of Proper Twelve] shouldn’t, you know what I mean? For things like this.

"They just pulled up in a taxi. She survived breast cancer. She’s never been away, she’s from America. It’s the first time they’ve come here, they just landed and they came to the gym and they seen the Bentley and go, ‘That has to be him!'”

“Deadly. Good energy!”
