Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious says he has Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz winner 'on his radar'

Conor McGregor has hinted that he could fight the winner of next month's fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.

The Notorious has not fought in the UFC since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, but could make a return in the coming months.

A rematch with the Russian remains a possibility for McGregor, but he could also fight Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje or Frankie Edgar, reports The Mirror.

Now McGregor has said he wants to fight the winner of the November 2 'Baddest Motherf***er' bout between Masvidal and Diaz in New York's Madison Square Gardens.

And the Irishman has even claimed that he helped design the 'BMF' belt for the one-off clash.

“I designed that ‘Bad Motherf***er’ belt,” McGregor said in quotes reported by MMA Junkie . “I actually designed that. I signed off on the design of how they are creating that belt.”

“So most certainly that belt was brought into fruition, brought to life because of me: the real bad motherf***er,” he added. “So most certainly one of those men is on my radar.”

On Thursday, McGregor is expected to discuss his immediate plans in Russia, amid suggestions this will be primarily to promote his own brand of Proper Twelve whiskey.

However, organisers of the event - bookmakers Parimatch - teased that the 31-year-old could divulge information about his return to the sport.

A press release from the organisers read: "McGregor will meet with reporters on October 24. This is the first such event involving McGregor in Russia.

"Perhaps he will make statements about his imminent return to the octagon."
