Conor McGregor has revealed his ambitions to build a Russian mansion.
The UFC star has been in Moscow this week, promoting his whiskey brand and announcing an intended return to the Octagon next January.
But far from a flying visit, the 31-year-old told a chat show that he has plans to fight in Russia and develop his own kremlin.
McGregor said: "I will fight here in Moscow in Russia for the people and right now I am actually looking at property.
"I would like to acquire a home here in Russia - I am developing a large one."
Asked by the talk show host what he planned to use the home for, McGregor said: "Train there, live there - I am a big fan of property and the infrastructure around Russia is phenomenal.
"I would love to own a residency here."
McGregor has been living the high life in Moscow with long-term partner Dee Devlin and he is thinking about extending their stay to take in Fight Night 163 at the CSKA Arena in Moscow.
He said: "I'm going to find it hard to leave to be honest because there is a fighting event here in two weeks, so I might stay.
"So, if I'm looking for property and there is an event up and coming then why not stay and bring my kids out.
"One day I will bring my son here to this great, great city and great, great country and show him around - it would be an honour to do this."
