Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious reveals best moment of his fight career

Conor McGregor has revealed that becoming a two-weight world champion has been the best moment of his career.

The Crumlin man, 30, has enjoyed some hugely memorable nights in the octagon, including a 13-second demolition of Jose Aldo at UFC 194.

That may have been the moment that brought him world attention, but holding the featherweight and lightweight belts tops the lot for the Notorious.

“I’d have to say winning them both [titles] at the same damn time was the best," McGregor said, who beat Eddie Alvarez to become a two-weight UFC champion at UFC 205.

"Both were glorious moments in my career. But being able to strap both the unified world titles around your waist, with no question and no doubt as to who was the champion. That was the most glorious moment of my career.

"So, winning them both at the same time and birthing the champ champ.”

Meanwhile, McGregor has been enjoying the Irish weather the with his son Conor Junior , and has posted some adorable photos of the fun to social media.

The Dubliner took to Instagram to upload a number of photos of his two-year-old son enjoying the heat wave that Ireland has been experiencing over the last few days.

He posted two pictures of Conor Jr. in one of his many fancy cars, and also shared a photo of his dog sitting in the sun.

Conor has been enjoying his time off from the octagon following his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, but had been training for a return for weeks.

However, he recently suffered a hand injury that required surgery and that has pushed back a potential comeback.
