Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious reiterates desire to fight at new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas

Conor McGregor has reiterated his desire to be the first person to fight at the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Construction on the stadium, which will be home to the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels college football team, is almost completed.

The Notorious previously stated that he would be interested in taking on Manny Pacquiao at the venue.

Speaking prior to his fight with Donald Cerrone in January, McGregor said: "It will be hard to leave the MMA game fully but I think a boxing world title is a great aspiration to have.

"What a feather in the cap it would be. I always want bigger and better and to reach for the stars.

"I would love the rematch with Floyd Mayweather and I know the Manny one is there whenever I want it."

He added: "I would be honoured and love to be the first combatant to fight in that arena and what a fight that would be against a small and powerful southpaw.

"We would have to figure out the weight we do it at but it interests me, no doubt."

McGregor recently retweeted a tweet calling for him to be the first man to fight at the stadium.

UFC star Jorge Masvidal also expressed a desire to fight McGregor at the venue earlier in the year, saying a bout there between them "would be huge".
