Conor McGregor UFC News: Notorious 'interested in buying Naas pub Fletchers' near his K Club home in Kildare

Conor McGregor is in the market to buy €600,000 Naas pub Fletchers, according to Irish Mirror sources.

The Notorious, 30, was spotted going into the landmark Kildare pub, just 12 kilometres from his luxurious K Club home in recent days with friends.

And reports claim that the 21-4 UFC superstar, who trains down the road from the pub at Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Naas, took photos of the pub's exterior while pals took pictures inside.

The pub, which opened in 1829, went on the market earlier this month and is seeking offers in excess of €600,000 at an auction scheduled for July 16.

It wouldn't be the Irish former champion's first foray into the alcohol industry; his Proper 12 whiskey company has sold millions of euro worth of stock since launching last year.

A source told Irish Mirror that there are rumours locally about McGregor making the purchase after locals saw him going into the landmark Kildare location and shared photos on Snapchat.

The Irish star is still training for a UFC return, despite picking up an injury during sparring earlier this year.

He lost his last two fights, first in a big money boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Junior and then to undefeated MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
