Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious gives behind the scenes insight into day with motivational speaker Tony Robbins

Conor McGregor has given fans an insider's look into his day with inspirational speaker Tony Robbins.

McGregor appeared on the American star's podcast last month, providing insight into his fights against Floyd Mayweather and Khabib Nurmagomedov while also discussing his meteoric rise to stardom.

And posting to social media, the Dubliner shared some behind the scenes pictures from the recording of the podcast - while also taking an opportunity to advertise his designer clothing brand 'August McGregor'.

In the Instagram post, McGregor said: "The World is truly yours in this two piece chino suit, available now at August McGregor!".

McGregor has also been named among the most powerful sports stars on social media.

The Notorious ranks in fifth position on the Forbes magazine list behind only four of the world's highest-paid footballers.

Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo is streets ahead at the top of the leaderboard with 887.2 million interactions with Barcelona's Lionel Messi trailing in second with less than half as many.

McGregor, who has 31.4 million followers on Instagram and 7.7 million on Twitter, had 159.7m interactions during the first six months of this year.

When it comes to combat athletes, McGregor is comfortably ahead of the competition with current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov second on 111.1m.

McGregor has not fought since his fourth-round submission defeat by Nurmagomedov last October.

But he continues to use his social channels to let fans follow his life and promote his business interests.

For instance, a short clip he posted announcing the launch of his Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey in Australia had 4.4 million views.

He also uses social media to promote products from sponsors including Reebok, Beats Electronics, Burger King, Monster Energy and Budweiser.

The 31-year-old is next followed by Liverpool player Mohamed Salah (152.2m) and fellow footballer Paulo Dybala (144.8m).

Then comes boxers Anthony Joshua (41.6m), Floyd Mayweather (31.4m) and Canelo Alvarez (26m).

The same publication told recently that McGregor came in at 65th of 100 celebrities in the latest celebrity rich list after pocketing an estimated €41.5m in the past year.
