Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious enjoys family boat trip around Dublin and Wicklow coast for Bray Air Show

Conor McGregor made a special trip to the annual Bray Air Show last weekend as he and his family enjoyed a luxury boat trip to the Wicklow town.

The UFC star was joined by his girlfriend Dee Devlin, children Conor Jr. and Croia and his extended family off on boat trip down the Irish and Wicklow coast for the show.

In the pictures posted to Instagram, the 31-year-old looked in high spirits as he posed with Conor Jr. and family during the trip.

The Dubliner has been enjoying his down time in Ireland as he prepares for a return to the octagon, and after reportedly splashing the cash on a luxury new pad in Kildare, he looks set to remain in Ireland for the next few months.

The Notorious one is set to make a rare public appearance at the grand opening of John Kavanagh's new SBG Ireland gym in September.

The new state-of-the-art facility will replace his old Naas road stomping ground as his coach revealed the grand opening date on social media last week.

According to Kavanagh, the opening day for members is set for August 12 - while a grand opening for the public will take place on September 21st and the former two-weight UFC champ is expected to attend

It comes after the Dubliner congratulated Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar on their UFC 240 main event.

Holloway defeated Edgar to retain his featherweight belt at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

After the bout, The Notorious posted on Twitter: "Good clean fight. Congrats guys."

McGregor also hit out at Khabib Nurmagomedov and referee Herb Dean in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In a range of tweets, he said: "You check on the fighter that was illegally kneed to the head on the ground. Not get into a game of trying to prove the knee was legal with the fighter who committed the assault.

"Herb should have checked on Khabibs eyeball after I kneed it full wack from bottom as well. I used the mount defense leg as a spring board right into the eye socket. But I was to crafty with it and got away Scotty. I call it the big poppa pump into the eyeball. And your brothers.

"Herb my man he’s tryna sniff my jock strap here it’s f***ing round 1. Stand this s*** up. Pussy fighter. Panic panic. We all saw you panic s*** yourself on the back of that bus. Riddled in panic. I might actually be the Riddler instead."

McGregor's comments come as Dana White opened the door on a rematch between the Dubliner and Nurmagomedov.

The UFC President said: “It would be a massive fight and it’s absolutely possible, yes.

“I think McGregor is gonna come back at the beginning of next year. So, realistically, all these guys are looking at September to see what happens with Khabib and Poirier.

"After that fight plays out, I think there’s gonna be a lot of movement going on.”
