Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious embraced by partner Dee Devlin after stunning win over Donald Cerrone

Conor McGregor was embraced by his partner Dee Devlin as the pair celebrated a triumphant return to the octagon in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

McGregor needed only 40 seconds to stop Donald Cerrone, in what was his first return to the squared circle since he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov 15 months ago.

With a kicks, shoulders and knees doing the damage, McGregor sent Cerrone to the deck in just 20 seconds - and didn't need much longer to finish the fight.

McGregor was immediately joined in the Octagon following the fight by his family.

Dee looked as glamorous as ever in the Octagon as she wore a bright green dress showcasing her Irish roots to support McGregor.

The pair, who have two children together, looked delighted following the fight and turned their attention to the night's after-party.

McGregor will earn around £80million for the fight, once all of his sponsorship and endorsement deals have paid out on top of his appearance fee from the UFC.

While it is only pocket change in comparison, he also landed a $50,000 bonus for knocking out Cerrone.

He was named as one of five fighters who will take home a performance of the night bonus.

McGregor also shared a hug with Cerrone's mother in the Octagon, who graciously congratulated him on the win.

Following the fight, McGregor said: "I like this weight division.

"I feel really good, it's good going up and down.

"God willing, I came out of this unscathed. I'm in shape but I don't believe I'm there yet.

"I've got one more to do to get back to where I was.

"I'll party tonight, spend time with my family and then get back in the gym."
