Conor McGregor UFC news: Notorious compares himself and Dee Devlin to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Conor McGregor has compared himself and Dee Devlin to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Crumlin man posted a photo of himself and Walkinstown native Dee with the caption, "Harry and Megan [sic] who?".

McGregor and long-term partner Dee have been together for over a decade and have two children, son Conor Jr and daughter Croia.

The Dubliner, meanwhile, is expected to provide an update on his future at a press conference in Moscow on Thursday.

The Irish UFC star has been teasing a return to the Octagon, having last fought over a year ago against Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov .

McGregor is due in Moscow on October 24, where he will discuss his immediate plans in the country, with suggestions this will be primarily to promote his own brand of Proper Twelve whiskey.

However organisers of the event - book makers Parimatch - teased that the 31-year-old could divulge information about his return to the sport.

The press release read: "McGregor will meet with reporters on October 24. This is the first such event involving McGregor in Russia.

"Perhaps he will make statements about his imminent return to the octagon."

The Notorious star has been active on social media this week, posting several updates to show he is in Russia, and ended up trading blows with Nurmagomedov on  Twitter  .

Following claims by UFC president Dana White that Nurmagomedov was "the man now", McGregor responsed in typical fashion.

He wrote: "Who’s not the man? Your man had that marquee event did he? More like an event in a marquee. A tent in the f****** sand it was. Keep spoofing to your self horse. Jock strap sniffer championships."
