Conor McGregor UFC news: Nate Diaz hits out at 'spoiled' Notorious

Nate Diaz has accused Conor McGregor of being "spoiled" by the UFC.

His comments will no doubt fuel more speculation of a trilogy fight between the pair who served up two memorable fights in 2016 with Diaz choking McGregor out in their first meeting before the Irishman exacted his revenge five months later.

McGregor went on to become a two-weight champion with victory over Eddie Alvarez before taking on Floyd Mayweather and Khabib Nurmagomedov, reports The Mirror.

Diaz has not fought since but returns to the Octagon on Saturday at UFC 241 against Anthony Pettis.

Victory for controversial lightweight-cum-welterweight will increase the clamour for a rubber match with McGregor.

And Diaz stoked the rematch flames by telling ESPN : "I never called [the UFC], I never called you guys. You guys called me, 'Hey, what's up? We know we're f****** rude f**** and we weeded you away and we made you disappear with Mayweather-McGregor.

"And Eddie Alvarez, that was a good match-up, that was an easy win for him. He just was put in all the right places. I’m not even f****** hating on that, that’s cool as hell.

"It’s cool he's doing what he did and whatever; but you’re a spoiled little b**** though because they handed you all that. You didn't do s***."

Diaz also claimed McGregor will want a third fight because he was only able to beat him by decision.

He added: "I should have beaten his a** and been on my way, but I have morals and said let's do it again then. Some people don't have that and that's why they're not real fighters.

"[If I was Conor], I wouldn't be able to sleep at night; he got smashed in his face and choked in front of everyone.

"He got his rematch like a spoiled little baby then came back and won a little decision that could have gone either way.

"I don't even care if it's a big decision, it's not the same; you can't be content with a decision, you got choked on your face.

"Time will tell but I think we will fight again."
