Conor McGregor UFC news: Muhammad Ali's daughter 'blown away' by Notorious and wants Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch

Muhammad Ali's daughter Rasheda was 'blown away' by Conor McGregor's UFC return and wants to see him face Khabib Nurmagomedov in a rematch.

The Notorious one made a triumphant comeback to the octagon last month in a 40 second demolition of Donald Cerrone in Las Vegas.

The win, McGregor's first in over three years, sees him back in the frame for a second crack at UFC lightweight king Khabib in a grudge rematch.

The pair came to blows in a fiery rivalry throughout 2018, with the Russian submitting McGregor in a dominant win in October of that year.

But after watching the Dubliner back in the cage, legendary boxer Muhammad Ali's daughter is looking forward to seeing the pair come to blows again.

She told RT:  "The way Conor looked against the Cowboy, I was blown away. I couldn't believe it. He looked amazing.

"That rematch, I can't wait to see it. (Khabib) has more of a grappling style and Conor is more boxing. I think the combination of the two is a really interesting one to watch.

"We're huge Khabib fans. I like his style. It could go either way, honestly... Once the fight gets there, it could turn on a dime.

"Conor might be able to take it back, who knows? I think they equally have a chance to be victorious in that fight. I can't wait to see it."
