Conor McGregor UFC news: Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager says Notorious has no chance of rematch

Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager says there is no chance the Russian will face Conor McGregor in a rematch.

The Notorious is desperate to face the UFC lightweight champion again after his defeat last October, but Khabib's manager, Gary Stonehouse, says there is zero chance the pair will meet again.

McGregor challenged the undefeated fighter once again after his win over Dustin Poirier last weekend, posting on Twitter: "Book my rematch for Moscow."

But Stonehouse says they "don't want to go through this Conor bull**** again".

Asked by TMZ Sport what chance there would be of the pair ever making a rematch, he responded: "0.00%".

Stonehouse launched a fresh attack on McGregor, branding him a "sour ex-girlfriend" and "irrelevant" as he insisted they should instead be focusing on Khabib's 28th straight win.

"Conor is like a sour, ex-girlfriend. She can't get anyone else - that's what Conor is," he stated. "He's irrelevant.

"He's not a good person.

"We don't want to talk about Conor, honestly.

"Khabib had such an amazing night on Saturday night. He fought a really great fight, he beat a world champion, that's what we should be talking about.

"Conor? Who cares. We already beat him, we already whooped his ass.

"There was no bad blood, he made it this ugly.

"That's the only thing he can do, promote ugliness. We promote peace.

"We don't want to go through this this Conor bull**** again."

Khabib beat McGregor by submission in their money-spinning UFC 229 clash last October to defend his lightweight crown.

McGregor has not appeared in The Octagon since and has been embroiled in controversy but is now preparing to make his long-awaited return to the sport.
