John Kavanagh has hilariously been told he looks like Conor McGregor.
The Notorious' coach was doing a bit of shopping in New York ahead of Dillon Danis' Bellator 222 fight when he was asked if he was a MMA fighter.
Kavanagh explained on Twitter: "Getting served in Macy's when guy sees my ear.
"'Hey bro, you one of them MNA fighters?'
"'No I just train'.
"'Anyone ever tell you you looking like that Conor McGregor?'"
Kavanagh has coached McGregor from the beginning and will be in his corner when the former two-weight UFC champion returns to the Octagon.
Speaking last month, Kavanagh said: "I don't think [me cornering Conor] is in doubt.
"I'm sure I'll be there, we talk almost daily.
"He doesn't have a fight lined up yet but as soon as he does we'll get the old gang back together and starting plotting, training and I'm sure he'll steal the show again, which I've no doubt he'll do.
When asked if McGregor will make his eagerly-anticipated return in 2019, Kavanagh remained tight-lipped, saying "I honestly don't know.
"That's a question for Conor, he's got a lot of other stuff going on so I'll just be honest and say I don't know."
