Conor McGregor UFC news: Gardai quiz Conor McGregor over alleged assault in Dublin pub

UFC star Conor McGregor has been reportedly questioned over an alleged assault in a Dublin pub.

A man claimed that he had been punched by the 30-year-old Crumlin native in the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh on April 6 after a short verbal row.

Detectives from Sundrive Road Garda Station quizzed the MMA fighter and are currently investigating the alleged incident.

McGregor arrived to the station with a legal representative for a voluntary interview on Tuesday.

CCTV of the alleged incident has being examined and witness statements have been taken also.

A file will be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) who will determine if charges will be brought.

A spokesperson for the gardai said: "Gardaí are following a definite line of enquiry in the case.

"One man presented himself at a Dublin Garda Station earlier this week and was questioned by Gardaí in relation to the incident.

"No arrests have been made to date and enquiries are ongoing.

"Gardaí are investigating an incident at a pub in Drimnagh on the 6th April 2019."
