Conor McGregor UFC news: Everybody saying the same thing about selfie Notorious posted on Instagram with son Conor jnr

Fans have claimed that Conor McGregor is slowly turning into Santa Claus - among many different famous faces.

The Notorious posted a selfie on Instagram over the weekend from a car journey with his son Conor Junior.

But it was the bushy beard, hairdo and glasses that caught the attention of social media users.

One fan said: "Conor McGregor looks like he is beginning to transition from Chris Kringle to Santa Claus."

Another opined: "Conor McGregor is starting to turn into Seth Rogan."

There were also comparisons with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp:

And someone else thinks he is on the road to becoming Jim Royle from The Royle Family:

It comes as McGregor hit the high seas on a jet ski with his young son and showed off a new rasher diet over the weekend.

The UFC star flew around the Irish Sea on the powerful watercraft with two-year-old Conor Junior helping to do the steering.

Father and son wore shorts and lifejackets in the warm autumnal weather as the pair enjoyed themselves out on the waves.

It comes as McGregor is set to appear before a Dublin court on Friday over an assault charge.

McGregor could face a maximum prison term of six months, a €1,500 fine or both if convicted, for allegedly punching a 50-year-old man in a pub
in Drimnagh, South Dublin, in April.

But the 30-year-old was keeping busy over the weekend, combining family time with a running session.

The controversial fighter was spotted pounding the pavements around the quiet roads of Straffan, Co Kildare, with his dog Hugo.

Wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black and red top, grey hat and runners, McGregor seems to be stepping up for a return to the octagon.

He hasn't fought since a submission loss to Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov last October in Las Vegas.

The Crumlin man will likely be keen to star making headlines for his sporting achievements ahead of his court date.

He allegedly punched the pub customer when he refused a shot of his
Proper 12 whiskey.

And the fighter has since admitted he was “in the wrong” when questioned about the incident.

He told ESPN: “That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having to end the way it did. I tried to make amends and I made amends back then.

“I come here before you and take accountability and responsibility.”

McGregor has also gave an insight into his diet - and there is plenty of room for some good old-fashioned rashers.

The Notorious posted a picture of his feed on Instagram and the plate was packed with rashers, potatoes, mushrooms, peppers, spring onion and eggs.
