Conor McGregor UFC news: Does this post prove the Notorious really has retired?

A new picture of Conor McGregor may prove the doubters wrong about his retirement from MMA.

The Notorious announced last week on social media that he was calling time on his UFC career.

But many people were not convinced and recalled a previous occasion in 2016 when the Crumlin fighter appeared to be hanging up his gloves only to fight on.

But a Instagram post has emerged that appears to show him enjoying a retirement bash in Miami.

McGregor and his family have been Stateside for a number of months and he is posing with a nightclub figure in the picture.

Sammy Miceli said: "My Mom is Happy I’m hanging out with a #Proper #Irish #Lad ......... (what Mom don’t know won’t kill her)........@thenotoriousmma #RetirementParty"

It comes after McGregor's parner Dee Devlin shared an adorable photo of her son and daughter on Mother's Day.

The sweet snap is the first image Dee has shared of her and partner Conor's daughter Croia who was born in January.

It shows Conor Jnr lying next to his baby sister, with his arm looped around hers, as the pair enjoy a timely nap.

Dee captioned the snap: "My babies - thank you for choosing me to be your mama."

UFC star Conor also shared a few pictures of the mothers in his life on Sunday.

He posted a picture of Dee feeding his daughter Croia with a love heart caption and also one with his own mother Margaret, writing: "Happy Mother’s Day Ma."
