Conor McGregor UFC news: Claudio Silva threatens to leave Notorious unconscious on Irish street

UFC fighter Claudio Silva has threatened to leave Conor McGregor unconscious in the street.

The Brazilian feels as though he is not being noticed by the UFC and has threatened to go after McGregor if he doesn't get a fight against a ranked fighter soon.

He told MMA Fighting: “If I’m beating everyone and still not getting someone ranked, I’ll go after Conor McGregor in Ireland and leave him unconscious in the middle of the street, since he’s the tap machine.

“That’s one of the plans I have, but I’m sure I’d get kicked out of the organization if I do that. That’s some gangster s***. I think I would get arrested. McGregor would go to the police station and press charges against me.”

Welterweight Silva is undefeated in the UFC, having won all five of his fights in the promotion so far.

Meanwhile, McGregor and Dee Devlin have donated €25,000 worth of toy vouchers to Inner City Helping Homeless.

The Notorious and his long-term partner donated the vouchers for Smyths Toys to the charity ahead of Chritmas.

ICCH thanked the couple, who have two children in Conor Jr and Croia, on social media.

They posted: "Thank you so much to Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin who kindly donated €25,000 of Smyths Toys vouchers to us to distribute to families at our Santa's Grotto at the #FillanXmasTruck event and to families we supported in the run up to Christmas.

"We appreciate the kind donation of the vouchers and sponsoring the Santas Grotto allowing us to help make children's Christmas more special."

McGregor makes his return to the UFC next month when he faces Donald Cerrone in Las Vegas.

The Dubliner hasn't fought since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October of last year and hasn't won a fight since beating Eddie Alvarez in November, 2016.
