Dana White has seemingly confirmed that Conor McGregor has reversed his decision to retire from UFC - and the pair are set for talks this month over the Irishman’s next fight.
McGregor has previously hinted that he is ready to reverse his retirement from mixed martial arts after tweeting: "see you in the Octagon".
The former two-weight UFC champion provoked shock - and scepticism in some quarters - when announced he was bowing out of the sport.
And McGregor, whose last bout saw him lose to bitter rival and UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, seems set to perform a dramatic u-turn.

He wrote on Twitter : "I want to move forward, with my fans of all faiths and all backgrounds. All faiths challenge us to be our best selves. It is one world and one for all.
"Now see you in the Octagon."
And UFC president White has seemingly confirmed this turnaround and told CNN that they will meet in Florida soon to plan the Irishman’s return.

White said: “Conor likes to be in a position where he holds the cards and he does what he wants to do.
“He and I figure out how to work together and how to make it all happen. Conor McGregor will fight again.
“Me and Conor communicate every day. We’ve been talking all this week, things are good with Conor and I and we’ll get something figured out soon.

“(We’re) talking about possible fights, possible time to come back.
“He and I are actually setting up some plans right now - I’m going to Florida in a couple of weeks and we’re going to sit down and talk face-to-face.”
McGregor and Nurmagomedov have a much storied past - the pair are both still suspended from competing following the notorious melee in the aftermath of the Russian's win over the Irishman at UFC 229 last October.
