Former UFC champion Michael Bisping has told Conor McGregor that money has "turned him into a c***" after his recent antics outside of the octagon.
The UFC star has been sidelined since breaking his tibia in his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier earlier this year.
McGregor has stayed in Los Angeles since the loss but is expected to return home to Ireland this month.
The Irishman made headlines on social media after his last loss for seemingly mocking the death of Khabib Nurmagomedov's father, Abdulmanap, and labelling Daniel Cormier as a "fat drunk f***".
And whilst discussing the recent arrest of fellow UFC star Jon Jones, Bisping said McGregor's ego has recently got the better of him.
He told ' True Geordie ': "If you wanna talk about someone who's out of f****** control, Conor McGregor. He's still got legions of f****** fans. It's gotten worse, it's got no better. Ego's out of f****** control.
"Money doesn't make you a man, it just exposes what a c*** you are, but at the end of the day people will tune in to see him fight inside the octagon."
McGregor recently boasted about the number of pay-per-view sales his UFC 257 rematch with Poirier sold this January, with the figure being upwards of 1.5 million.
The recently published figure means McGregor has been involved in every one of the top five highest selling pay-per-views in UFC history.
He topped Forbes' highest-paid athlete list this year largely due to the £106 million ($150 million) sale of his whiskey brand Proper 12 to Proximo Spirits.
McGregor was involved in an altercation with Machine Gun Kelly last month at the MTV Video Awards and appeared to throw his drink at the singer.

But he later played down the incident and stated he doesn't know who the singer is.
And whilst thought to be out for at least a year, McGregor's recovery is ahead of schedule which means he could make a UFC return before the end of this year.
He told Adam Glyn last month: "I feel good now I’m back on the feet. I honestly feel like I can kick right now but I’ve got to listen to the doctors. I’ve just got to listen to the people who are guiding me.
“Still a long way to go, I don’t want to get too ahead of myself. Like I said, I could kick right now but I’m not advised to kick yet but I’m going to get back man. Do you think a broken leg is going to stop me? Think again.”
