Conor McGregor's teammate Dillon Danis has claimed that Jake Paul would receive the biggest payday of his life if the pair faced-off in the ring.
Paul is set for a showdown with Tommy Fury in December, following various barbs between the pair on social media and Fury's appearance on the undercard of Paul's bout with Tyron Woodley earlier this year.
However, Paul is constantly keeping an eye on the future and has not hesitated to continue to call out potential opponents beyond Fury.
Danis turned down a fight with Paul earlier this year, following a clash in Los Angeles last December, due to Covid-19 delaying his recovery from a knee injury.
The 24-year-old remains on the mind of Danis though as he made a big claim about the marketability of a potential bout with the Youtuber-turned-boxer.
"You know what's funny, the first time he ever called anyone out in boxing it was me," he told Plan Bri Uncut.
"I respect his marketing and what he does. He's not a stupid kid but he's not a fighter and he knows that. We talk about fighting all the time then he goes and fights the easier fights.
"No one can sell a fight like me. If me and him fought it would be the biggest payday of his life. The amount of hype going into it and the s*** talking."
Fury and Paul will go toe-to-toe in Miami on December 18th, the second fight for the Manchester fighter in the United States following his triumph against Anthony Taylor earlier this year.
Fury is currently 7-0 in his fledgling career, with four victories by knockout, but many were left unimpressed by the manner of his win against Taylor.
