Conor McGregor sparks concern after releasing video of himself eating ice cream in bed

Conor McGregor has sparked concern among fans after the star posted videos on social media of him eating ice cream in bed.

The Irish fighter is currently sidelined from UFC action as he is recovering from a broken leg he suffered in defeat by Dustin Poirier last year.

He has recently been very active on social media, worrying fans as he vowed to quit drinking before posting a lengthy rambling message on Instagram from his Black Forge Inn pub.

Fans are once again worried about the star after he posted a video of himself eating ice cream in his bed, filming his legs before switching to a camera view of himself eating an ice lolly.

The Irish star posted pictures of himself with alcohol in the same Instagram post.

As reported in The Mirror, one fan expressed their concern : "Wtf is going on with Conor at the moment?" while another wrote: "My bro what is this? How can I possibly support this?"

One fan said: "Someone please hurry up and take Conor's phone away from him."

Another claimed: "Sorry Conor you will never become champion again."

A fan also noted: "This dude has lost his mind."

Another fan voiced their worry: "Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan, and that lavish lifestyle obviously looks great but damn it’s just so corny bro.. Carry your self like the true king you are man!"

Another believes McGregor's antics mean he won't return to the cage, claiming: "Money has well and truly gone to your head my friend, I was your biggest fan too, you won’t fight again."

McGregor has vowed to stop drinking and focus on his UFC comeback but his claims have left fans unconvinced.

The Irish star is plotting his redemption at lightweight and is eyeing a return date of April to resume sparring and full-contact training.

This would open the door for McGregor to make a return to the octagon in the summer with a number of potential opponents lined up.

He could likely face the winner of the lightweight clash between Michael Chandler and Tony Ferguson which is currently in talks to take place early this year.

Despite making initial demands, McGregor will miss out on an immediate title shot after the UFC booked Charles Oliveira's defence against Justin Gaethje.

Oliveira was keen to face McGregor and has admitted he is waiting for the Irishman's challenge.

A victory for McGregor over a leading contender in his cage return could set up a shot at Oliveira if he progresses beyond Gaethje, in the final fight of his UFC contract.

McGregor is likely to headline an event on his return despite his lowly ranking, with eight of the top ten selling pay-per-views headlined by the 33-year-old.
