Conor McGregor shows off personalised tracksuit in front of large €50 note featuring himself

Conor McGregor has shown off his new personalised Reebok tracksuit, with a large €50 note featuring the Dubliner in the background.

The Notorious revealed the "combat tracksuit" on Instagram just a few weeks after announcing his retirement from MMA fior the third time in four years.

He commented on the picture: "The Reebok King.

"My personal combat tracksuit, available now, ties in directly with the infamous McGregor Sports Lion Head. As seen here. You mightn’t have noticed off the bat of this video that there were actually two Lions present.

"Such is the power and Wiliness of the Lion.

"It’s over before you even think it’s began.

"An honour."

Meanwhile, McGregor has been warned that the UFC will not give in and hand him a title shot if he decides to come out of retirement.

Despite being the promotion's biggest star, the Crumlin native one has plenty of contenders vying for a crack at UFC gold - meaning an immediate title shot isn't in the works.

And he's now been warned that the UFC won't bow down to their biggest name - despite the possibility of him walking away from the sport for good looming large.

Dan Hooker, who was beaten in a five-round thriller against Dustin Poirier in the early hours of Sunday morning, thinks that the UFC will stand their ground.

“It doesn’t make a lot of sense, and it doesn’t make a lot of sense with what we’re seeing now with the UFC kind of standing their ground with a lot of these big-named guys who want to kind of call the shots, and the UFC’s jumping back in and saying we’re the ones running the show," Hooker told  MMA Fighting.

“So I don’t think that benefits Conor very well, if he’s going to try to position himself for a title shot when compared to me.

“You’re seeing it now with Gilbert Burns - Usman fight. Jorge Masvidal was obviously the clear frontrunner for that title shot, but contract negotiations turned south and the UFC gave it to the guy who wants to fight.”
