Conor McGregor sent chilling warning from Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager

Conor McGregor has been sent a chilling warning by Ali Abdelaziz - Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager.

McGregor and Abdelaziz have traded insults in the past and the latest barb came after the Dubliner was linked with a clash against rising UFC ace Khamzat Chimaev, who is also managed by Abdelaziz.

Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports: “Khamzat would put Conor McGregor in a wheelchair, and he would drink from a straw for the rest of his life.

“Khamzat would kill him. He would really kill him.”

McGregor retired from MMA at the age of 32 over the summer but UFC boss Dana White recently revealed he has been in talks with the former two-weight champion over a potential return.

The Notorious had been training for a 180km water voyage, said he was "crushed" on Twitter last week in response to a user who had alerted him to a BBC story which called him "English" and stated he "can't go on like this".

The user said: "They can have him. The BBC is correct, [Conor McGregor] is English."

McGregor, who is Irish, said: "[You work in] suicide intervention yet [you are] ridiculing me in this manner online, at this horrendous time in my life.

"I am trying to stay strong for my kids and the people that rely on me and that love and support me. Thanks for the insults, hypocrite."

McGregor is alleged to have exhibited his private parts to a young married woman in the upmarket port town of Calvi on September 6.

Formal allegations were made to police earlier this month against McGregor by an as-yet unnamed complainant.

McGregor’s lawyer, Emmanuelle Ramon, said his client "vigorously denied any wrongdoing".

"He has been released before the legal end of police custody and without any judicial review," said Mr Ramon.
