Conor McGregor had a cheeky swipe at Floyd Mayweather on the anniversary of his defeat to the boxing legend.
Three years after the day he was stopped by Mayweather in the 10th round of their crossover bout, UFC star McGregor took to social media to claim he had "carried" the undefeated former world champion in his final fight.
The 2017 clash became one of the highest-grossing combat sports events of all time, making a live gate of $55million in the US and more than £20m in the UK.
Mayweather reportedly earned $300m from the fight, with McGregor believed to have made around $100m.
Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor is the biggest pay-per-view draw in mixed martial arts history, despite having fought only once since losing his lightweight title in his 2018 defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

And the Irishman referred to his riches in his Instagram post to Mayweather, saying time flies when you're "stacking cheddar" - slang for making money.
The Notorious posted a picture of his fight with 'Money' Mayweather, along with the caption: "Three years ago today I carried Floyd for his final boxing match. Wow time flies when you’re stacking cheddar. Happy retirement champ."
McGregor said immediately after the fight that it should not have been stopped, and has insisted he would beat Mayweather in a rematch.
The 32-year-old announced his retirement from MMA for the third time in four years back in June, less than five months after he made his UFC comeback with victory over Donald Cerrone.

And Mayweather was quick to offer McGregor a rematch in a bid to draw him back into the ring.
"If I’m not mistaken, didn’t you tell Mike Tyson you could beat me if we fought a second time? Now you’re quitting!" he wrote on Instagram.
"I thought you wanted to beat the best? Well, if you decide to come back, I will be waiting to punish you again."
