Conor McGregor's training partner Dillon Danis instructed to "leave MMA" after arrest

Dillon Danis, friend and training partner of Conor McGregor, has been told he must leave MMA after his recent arrest in America.

UFC legend Michael Bisping, a long-time rival of Danis, has called on the New Jersey man to quit the sport.

Danis was arrested earlier this month outside a bar in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly “created a disturbance”, reports the Mirror.

He was allegedly involved in an altercation with a security guard, who in eyewitness footage shared by someone at the bar appeared to submit the jiu-jitsu black belt.

“I can’t believe I’m talking about Dillon Danis, who I refer to as ‘Dildo Danis’ — which is a little immature, but it fits him perfectly,” Bisping said during an episode of his MMA Wrap-Up show.

“He’s a stain on mixed martial arts, and I wouldn’t normally give him the time of day - the guy hardly ever fights.

"I think he’s had two fights for Bellator, he’s best known for being Conor McGregor ’s No.1 coat rider, if you know what I mean.

"Apparently he’s good at Jiu-Jitsu or whatever, I think he’s got plenty of losses in that world as well, and he just copies Conor’s whole schtick.

"He’s a very, very, very, very, poor man’s Conor McGregor.

"He’s like a broke version of Conor McGregor that’s lost all his money, he’s gone broke, he’s hit rock bottom. And that’s what you’re left with, that’s ‘Dildo Danis’.“

Footage that appears to show Danis being submitted by a bouncer named Chance outside of the Beach Comber Bar and Grill went viral on social media.

The 23-year-old security guard claimed that he didn't know who Danis was, despite the fighter having over a million followers on social media.

Danis was also at the centre of the row which erupted following McGregor's defeat by Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018.

The Russian submitted McGregor in the fourth round before scaling the cage and leaping into the crowd in search of Danis.

"I jumped on him because other corner is too old; because Conor’s other corner, other coaches, too old, and that’s why I jumped on him," recalled Nurmagomedov ). "Because he’s almost like my age."

"If I jumped on [coach John] Kavanagh, I don’t think it’s too — because Kavanagh can’t fight me. That’s why I jumped on [Danis]."
