Conor McGregor's sparring partner Dylan Moran explains why he'll never fight Jake Paul

Conor Mcgregor's sparring partner Dylan Moran says he'll never fight Jake Paul because the fight would be too risky for the Youtube star.

The 26-year-old (15-1) has been linked with a big money fight against Paul after the American slammed Moran in his spat with Conor McGregor.

Moran was recruited into McGregor's team for his training camp last year in the lead up to his UFC 257 loss to Dustin Poirier as the Dubliner looked to work on his boxing.

And McGregor has previously described Moran as: "One of the better boxers I've ever shared the ring with. A phenomenally exciting Irish talent!"

After Paul's first round stoppage against Ben Askren over the weekend, Moran's phone lit up as fans speculated that he could take on the Youtuber next.

But Moran has pulled cold water on the suggestions, insisting the fight would never happen.

Moran told Sky Sports: "It went all over the world, it was nuts, absolutely crazy.

"A fight between us will never happen - it's high risk, low reward, for him. So I was happy to forget about it.

"But on Sunday, after his fight, my phone was blowing up so the public haven't forgotten.

"I'd like to see Tommy Fury punch him up - he needs a wake-up call. This isn't the Disney Channel.

"His trainer J'Leon Love is making a comeback so I'd happily put him back into retirement.

"Conor just laughs at those guys. Jake Paul wasn't even mentioned in the training camp. Nobody was interested."
