Conor McGregor's partner celebrated her nephew's christening at the UFC star's pub over the bank holiday weekend.

Sharing a picture on Instagram, Cathy said: "Sisters aka Friends for Life."

McGregor was among those to comment on the snap as he simply posted a love eyes and heart emojis.

Cathy described the day as "a special day for our special little boy".

Crumlin man McGregor also shared a picture of the three sisters on his own Instagram account over the weekend.

Commenting on the post, he said: "Happy Easter sessions everyone! Remember to praise above. Thank you Jesus, thank you for coming back and saving us. Thank you God."

The former two-weight champion continues to prepare for his UFC return after suffering a horror leg break against Dustin Poirier last summer.

According to MMA analyst Chael Sonnen, a step aside offer has been made to Leon Edwards to allow a fight between Usman and McGregor.

"I am being told that Leon has been offered his show and his win [money], whatever was negotiated for Leon to fight Kamaru is being offered to him," Sonnen said on his YouTube channel.

"I don't believe this rumour by the way, I'm just sharing with you anytime you don't have something locked up... Leon [vs Kamaru] is not done. There are some real moving parts there, quite frankly I don't know if we are going to see Kamaru Usman fight in two years from now."
