Conor McGregor's next fight confirmed but it’s far from his normal UFC career

Conor McGregor's next fight has been confirmed - but it's far from his normal UFC career as he continues to recover from a horror leg break.

According to comedian Stevo Timothy, McGregor has agreed to fight at his December charity fight night in a wheelchair boxing match.

The fight night is planned to go down at an unconfirmed December date, will be in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association and will also see organiser Timothy take on Irish Olympic medallist Paddy Barnes in a wheelchair boxing match.

Taking to social media, Timothy confirmed: "So Conor McGregor just made contact. He'll be fighting in a homecoming fight this December. In a wheelchair!".

And McGregor is in line take on Irish impressionist Al Foran after he agreed to take on the Notorious one in the charity boxing event back in the summer.

Dublin comedian Foran is well known for his colourful takes on the Notorious one, and has caught the attention of the man himself.

As Timothy took to Twitter to announce that Foran was the first name on the undercard for their planned fight night, McGregor was quick to respond as he called out Foran and joked about his 'terrible impressions' of him.

He tweeted: "I’ll fight this imposter in the co-main! Terrible impressions of me he is doing years."

The UFC star has been keeping an eye on the fundraiser after he donated an incredible €10,000.

Al Foran wasted no time in replying to McGregor and has accepted the challenge, he posted on Twitter: "Challenge accepted @TheNotoriousMMA. "You’ll have to deal with the unpredictability of fighting multiple personalities though”.
