Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh has had a chuckle at the prospect of YouTuber Jake Paul fighting Irish boxing pro Dylan Moran.
Waterford native Moran is a sparring partner of McGregor who has been helping the former two-weight UFC champion prepare for his January 23 clash with Dustin Poirier.
Fresh from calling out McGregor recently with a foul-mouthed tirade and a $50million fight purse offer, Paul last night took aim at Moran, 26, in a video posted to social media.
Moran holds a 15-1 record as a pro and Paul attached footage of his one defeat along with his video message.
He blasted: "Conor's taking easy fights. But he's been sparring in Ireland!
"He's been boxing, going against some phenomenal, exciting Irish talent.
"This kid must be really good, because Conor's a 'good boxer' right? And then we looked this kid up!
"Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you: the big, bad, exciting Irish talent - Dylan Moran, the kid that Conor McGregor is sparring against. Take a look!"
Moran had promised to teach Paul 'some manners' after his initial call-out of McGregor in a video which also saw him insult the Dubliner's fiancee Dee Devlin.
Moran said: "I have seen the video and personally I find it very disrespectful.
"If he or Logan (Jake's brother) shows up I will sleep those boys. They need to be taught some manners."
Paul has fought in two celebrity exhibition bouts to date - defeating a fellow YouTuber in his debut and knocking out former NBA star Nate Robinson in his second fight.
But coach Kavanagh says he will need to be prepared to throw in the towel after a round if he comes up against Moran.
