Conor McGregor's alleged assault case was adjourned for almost three weeks this morning after his solicitor asked for more time to prepare his defence case.
The dad of two appeared in the Criminal Courts of Justice charged with a Section 2 assault, arising out of an alleged attack on pub goer Des Keogh in a Dublin pub six months ago.
Flanked by two security men, the MMA star walked into the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday shortly before 10am.
McGregor, 31, then stood before the judge for the two-minute hearing before the case was adjourned.
Solicitor Michael Staines asked Judge Marie Keane for an adjournment of a few weeks on the grounds of disclosure relating to CCTV of the incident.
Prosecuting Garda Jason O’Carroll of Crumlin Garda Station agreed to the request.
McGregor, 31, of Ladycastle, Straffan, Co Kildare, is set to appear in court again on November 1.
He is facing a single assault charge, which carries a maximum prison term of six months or a €1,500 fine, or both, if convicted.
The Garda investigation was launched after the alleged incident at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh on April 6.
