Conor McGregor risks police rap after filming himself driving along busy road

Conor McGregor has risked the rap of the police after filming himself driving along a busy Irish road.

The Notorious posted a clip on his Instagram story from at the wheel of his luxurious Bentley convertible.

Appearing to show a disregard for the law in Ireland prohibiting using a mobile phone while driving, the 30-year-old even films the busy traffic around him in the video.

The camera moves around and takes in, among other things, the UFC star's designer watch believed to be a gold Patek Philippe Nautilus watch, worth over €80,000.

McGregor wears a black tracksuit and cap in the clip, and he smiles at the camera and chews gum throughout. He is the only person in the car.

The Crumlin man already has a series of driving offences to his name and was given a six-month ban from driving in November 2018 after he was caught speeding at 154kmh on the N7 in Kildare.

It comes after McGregor announced this month that he was retiring from the fight game for the third time in four years.

He has been living in Ireland with his long-term partner Dee Devlin and their two young children since lockdown restrictions were put in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dublin Live has contacted Conor McGregor's representatives for comment.
