Conor McGregor reunited with his mother Margaret in Rome ahead of son's Christening

Conor McGregor has been reunited with his mother Margaret in Rome as he shared a picture with her to social media.

The Notorious one is back on this side of the Atlantic with Dee Devlin and his family ahead of son Rian's Christening in Italy, and now his mother has flown out to join him after months away from her son.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a snap with Margaret and said: "With the creator of my world my beautiful mother Margaret, in Rome, Italy".

It comes after McGregor has shared a video of his mother Margaret showing off a luxury convertible car.

In the clip, which apperars to have been filmed in Dublin, Margaret can be seen putting the roof up on the car as she says "it's great to have plenty of money, it's great to be rich".

The video was recorded by a friend of the UFC star's mum, who can be heard saying "look what I have to put up with Conor. It's not even funny".

The former two-weight champion paid tribute to his mother last year after she came through a challenging time "with flying colours".

He said: "I have been very proud of my mother recently and she was actually going through some things and she came through it with flying colours and now she's like a completely new woman.

"When I see this, my mother is at the top, seeing her correct, she wasn't telling me: 'Conor, do this, do that' because that will make you almost rebel against it."
