Conor McGregor may have announced his retirement from mixed martial arts on Tuesday morning but some fans are taking it with a pinch of salt.
The 30-year-old announced the news on Twitter, writing: "Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today.
"I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition.
"I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Coladas on me fellas!"
But combats sports have a history of fighters hanging up their gloves only to make sensational comebacks.
And a number of fans on social media were not convinced that we have seen the end of McGregor in the octagon.
