Irish UFC star Conor McGregor appears to have announced his retirement.
The 30-year-old said in a somewhat vague tweet that he had "decided to retire from the sport formally known as 'Mixed Martial Art'".
It is unclear if the two weight division champion's tweet is sincere - he previously announced 'retirement' in a tweet back in 2016.
In a tweet on Tuesday he said: "Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today.
"I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition.

"I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Coladas on me fellas!"
In 2016, McGregor had tweeted: "I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya's later."
He later went on to fight twice that year.
McGregor had been tipped for a trilogy with Nate Diaz or a fight against Donald Cerrone.
