Conor McGregor is reportedly in talks for a fight with Justin Gaethje this summer.
McGregor has a number of options for his next bout after his 40-second demolition of Donald Cerrone last month, but ESPN's Ariel Helwani reports that McGregor's representatives are in talks with the UFC over a fight with Gaethje.
Prior to his win over Cerrone, the Crumlin man said on the possibility of fighting Gaethje: "He is on the list.
“Maybe I’ll face him next, you know? He has it coming to him.
“I mean laugh at how Justin is behaving. He’s a funny guy. He’s been taking it very to heart, you know? And I know the feeling when you do that.
“So maybe I’ll get through Donald and I’ll have a quick turnaround against Justin.
"So maybe that’s what will happen. But Justin is on the list, no doubt.”
Gaethje has previously accused McGregor of avoiding a fight with him.
