Conor McGregor has returned to the gym just days after announcing his retirement from mixed martial arts.
McGregor posted his intention to walk away from the octagon on Tuesday, although he is yet to officially notify the UFC .
It has been suggested that the announcement could be part of the former two-weight world champion's negotiation tactics as he attempts to secure a third fight against Nate Diaz.
The 30-year-old could also return to the boxing ring, where he lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on his professional debut in August, 2017.
And McGregor is clearly determined to keep himself in shape as he hit the gym in Miami for boxing training.

McGregor posted images from his session on Instagram account, with the caption: "Sparring Cubans in retirement."
He was then pictured leaving the Florida gym on Thursday, and attempted to shield himself from light rain as he made his exit.
The Irishman is set to finish his MMA career with 21-4 record, and said on his Twitter account on Tuesday morning that he had decided to call it a day and wished his former colleagues well.
McGregor, 30, returned to the octagon last October after a hiatus of nearly two years where he fought Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight strap.

The Russian retained his UFC lightweight title when he beat McGregor with a fourth-round submission but the event was marred by a post-fight brawl which led to both fighters being fined and suspended.
McGregor posted on Twitter: "Hey guys quick announcement, I've decided to retire from the sport formally known as "Mixed Martial Art" today.
"I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition. I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement.

McGregor quickly became one of UFC's biggest stars, winning performance of the night three times in succession after defeating Diego Brandao, Dustin Poirier and Chad Mendes.
His finest moment came when he knocked out Jose Aldo inside 13 seconds to take the interim featherweight title at UFC 194.
